Love is in the air, and one cheap but romantic way to spend it is to stay at home, cuddle with your loved one (your favorite stuffed animal would work as a perfect substitute!) and watch some movies. To help you guys out, I've made a list of my top 5 all-time favorite romantic movies. Enjoy!
5) Sabrina (1954) Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart and William Holding
Audrey Hepburn's character, Sabrina is inlove with the wealthy playboy David Larrabee played by William Holding. To aid her broken heart, she flees to Paris to study culinary. When she comes back, she has become a sophisticated woman and captures the heart of not only David, but his brother Linus (Humphrey Bogart), too.
4) P. S. I Love You - Hilary Swank, Gerard Butler
Hilary and Gerard plays a married couple whose bliss is short-lived when suddenly Gerard dies. But the romance doesn't stop there. In fact, that's where it all begins. While Hilary mourns over the death of her husband, she starts to receive love notes from her husband and falls in love with him all over again. This is one of those movies that will make you cry and find your true love at the same time.
3) Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Mario Mauer & Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul
Who hasn't had the once-in-a-lifetime experience of first love? Wasn't it amazing? Check out this hai movie that made Mario Mauer a star all over Asia as you laugh at Nam and her friends, go gaga at P'Shone's irrisistable charm, and bawl your eyes out when you least see it coming!
2) The Vow, Rachel McAdams & Channing Tatum
Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams are newlyweds who get in a car accident that causes Paige (McAdams) to be under a coma. When she wakes up, she doesn't have a clue who Leo (Tatum) is. The worst part is that she thinks she's still inlove with her former fiance who now acts like a jerk! But prepare to get swept off your feet as Leo tries and tries to win Paige back, true to his vow.
1) The Notebook, Rachel McAdams & Ryan Gosling
Hello again, Rachel McAdams. I personally would've included The Time Traveller's Wife, but I thought I'd just post two McAdams movies (but feel free to check that out!). Any romantic movie countdown would not be complete without this! Hot guy? check. Beautiful girl torn between the love of her life and the "proper" man? check. Hot guy who would do anything for the girl? I could go on forever, but I'm gonna cut this short so you could see why I'm raving.
Don't forget the popcorn!
